Job Details:
We’re hiring CDL-A drivers for a local grocery distribution position based in Harrisonville, MO. This is a night-shift, home-daily job running local round-trip loads in reefer and dry van trailers with a mix of live load and drop & hook freight. Freight is no-touch, miles and freight are consistent, and drivers are part of a slip-seat operation.

• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,100–$1,200
• Pay Package: $0.49–$0.60 CPM based on experience, Short-haul pay: $25 for loads under 50 miles, Stop pay: $10 for first stop, $15 for each additional stop
• Weekly miles: 1,600–1,700 on average
• Local round-trip runs in the Kansas City metropolitan area
• Grocery in reefer trailers and dry vans, live load, drop & hook, no-touch freight
• Home daily with 34-hour restarts
• Night shift only on a 24/7 account
• Weekend & Holiday work required – account runs on all holidays
• Slip-seat program – tractors remain at the facility, not taken home
• Local, consistent freight with some drop-and-hook opportunities

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Trainees and first-seat experienced drivers accepted
• Comfortable working overnights, weekends, and holidays on a local schedule
• Able to operate in a slip-seat environment with live load/drop & hook grocery freight
• Safe driving record and ability to meet standard hiring criteria
• Must live within 50 miles of ZIP 64701 (Harrisonville, MO)
