TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – An Indiana truck driver who was last seen Monday in Ohio has been reportedly found dead.
Our CBS affiliate WHIO in Clark County, Ohio reported Monday around 10 p.m. that a man was found dead in a parked semi.
Crews were dispatched around 8:43 p.m. on a report of a deceased man in a semi parked at Lineage Logistics at 1895 Airpark Drive in Clark County, Ohio.
Police were not providing much information Monday evening, but did tell WHIO that they received a call from the company owning the truck after they became worried about its driver.
Scott McDaniel from Scott’s Custom Colors and Auto Body in Terre Haute posted that his truck driver hadn’t been heard from since late Sunday night. McDaniel also posted that his driver didn’t make it to his next stop in Grove City, Ohio.
News 10 spoke with McDaniel Tuesday morning who thanked everyone for their condolences but asks for privacy for the family and friends of the driver at this time. Because of that we will not be releasing the name of the driver.
Clark County, Ohio investigators are still looking into the death of the man and are trying to determine the cause of death
