A truck driver for the United States Postal Service was shot killed early this morning along eastbound Interstate 30 near downtown Dallas.
The Dallas Morning News reports police say the shooting occurred at about 2:20 a.m. The driver, whose name has not been released, is said to have died at the scene and that his tractor-trailer crashed into a guardrail.
Police have no motive for the shooting at this time.
A traffic camera in the area showed the USPS big rig and two Postal Service box trucks at the scene, which is not far from the main post office.
