CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver – Night Shift

Job Details:
We’re hiring experienced CDL-A tractor-trailer drivers for a local intermodal position based out of the Chicago, IL area. You’ll move intermodal freight at night between Chicago and surrounding states with a mix of live loads/unloads and drop & hook, while being home every day and earning solid weekly pay.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,200
• Pay: $0.62 per mile + $20 per load
• Average Weekly Miles: ~1,800
• Freight: Local/regional intermodal freight – mix of live load/unload and drop & hook
• Home Time: Home daily
• Shift: Night shift only – runs primarily between evening and early-morning hours
• Weekend Work: Required; holiday work if it falls on a scheduled day
• Lane/Area: Runs out of Chicago into Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months recent solo tractor-trailer experience
• Comfortable with night driving, Chicago traffic, and local/regional out-of-state runs
• Able to work weekends and holidays when scheduled
• Safe driving record and ability to meet standard hiring criteria
• Must live within 25 miles of ZIP 60608 (Chicago, IL)
