Pay & Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,300 – $1,700
• Hourly Pay: $15/hr
• Stop Pay: $12.50 per stop (approx. $24.50 per load)
• Weekly Hours: 60–70 hours
• Weekly Miles: ~1,000

Compensation is based on hours worked and stop activity.

Home Time & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Day and Night shifts available
• Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday
• Weekend Work: Yes
• Holiday Work: As needed

Freight & Equipment

• Intermodal containers (rail ramp operations)
• Containers mounted on chassis
• Live load, live unload, preload, and drop & hook
• No driver assist loads

Lane Details

• Local deliveries within a 1–65 mile radius
• Retail and consumer goods freight
• 3–8 loads per day (incentive-based)

Additional Information

• Slip-seat operation (shared day cab)
• Possible wait times at rail yard (30–60 minutes)
• 60–70 hour work weeks are common
• Consistent, steady freight

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
• Must live within 25 miles of Salt Lake City, UT
• Hazmat endorsement required
