Job Details

• Position Type: Semi-Local CDL-A Driver
• Home Time: Weekly 34-Hour Reset
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Night Shift
• Approximately 2,000 Miles Per Week
• Company Driver
• Automatic Sleeper Trucks
• Dry Van Trailers
• No Touch Freight
• Drop & Hook Operation

Freight

Drivers haul dedicated freight between distribution facilities throughout Connecticut and surrounding areas. Most loads are drop-and-hook with no-touch freight, providing efficient runs and consistent weekly miles.

Drivers should expect approximately:

• 6-8 loads per week
• 9-12 stops weekly
• 2-3 overnights each week

Peak season may require an optional sixth workday.

Equipment

• Assigned Automatic Sleeper Trucks
• 48′ & 53′ Dry Van Trailers
• Reliable transportation to the terminal is required.
• Trucks cannot be taken home.

Hiring Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent CDL-A experience
• Must meet DOT qualification standards
• Safe driving record
